The Department of Biochemistry proudly extends its heartfelt congratulations to Maj. Yutthana Pansuwan, Lecturer, Department of Biochemistry, Phramongkutklao College of Medicine, for being selected to deliver an oral presentation at the prestigious European Board of Medical Assessors Conference 2025 (EBMA 2025).

His presentation, titled:“ChatGPT in Early Medical Training: A Catalyst for Success or a Shortcut to Forgetfulness?” critically examines the role of generative AI in early medical education, evaluating its potential to enhance learning experiences while also addressing the risks related to over-reliance and reduced long-term retention. This international recognition reflects Maj. Yutthana’s unwavering dedication to advancing medical education through innovation, academic inquiry, and the ethical use of emerging technologies in teaching and learning.

The Department celebrates this achievement and looks forward to further impactful contributions to the global stage of medical education and assessment.

10th Born to be Medical Cadet camp

January 25-26, 2025

The 10th Born to be Medical Cadet Camp is an annual event designed to inspire and guide aspiring medical students on their journey toward becoming military doctors. This program provides high school students with an immersive experience, allowing them to explore the life, training, and responsibilities of a military medical cadet.

Maj. Yutthana Pansuwan, serving as a department instructor, participated in the event to share valuable experiences and insights with the students, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the medical profession within the military field.

Through hands-on activities, interactive workshops, and mentorship from experienced professionals, the camp aims to equip participants with the knowledge and inspiration needed to pursue a career in military medicine.

Annual Influenza Vaccination Program 2025 for PCM Personnel

The Department of Biochemistry proudly supports the 2025 Annual Influenza Vaccination Program for PCM personnel, aimed at promoting health and preventing the spread of influenza. A total of 160 vaccine doses will be administered during this event. Lt. Surapas Junlawakkananon, as the Department Instructor, attended as the designated physician responsible for administering the vaccines to personnel. 

Influenza vaccination is a crucial preventive measure that helps reduce infection risks, prevent complications, and strengthen herd immunity within the medical community. The Department of Biochemistry extends its gratitude to all organizers and participants for their contributions to this initiative and remains committed to enhancing the well-being of PCM personnel.

We encourage all eligible personnel to receive their vaccination as scheduled to ensure optimal health and protection for everyone!

"Medical Cadet's Experiencing Program – Exploring the Life of a Medical Student"

The Department of Biochemistry is honored to participate in and support the PCM's Medical Experience Program 2024, a unique opportunity for high school students to immerse themselves in the life of a medical student through Game-Based Learning.

As part of this initiative, the Department of Biochemistry has designated Maj. Yutthana Pansuwan as a department instructor to share valuable experiences and insights with high school students aspiring to pursue medical careers.

This program not only provides a first-hand glimpse into medical education but also serves as an inspiring gateway for students to prepare for their future in the healthcare field.
